Another member

Hello Munchkins,

I hope everyone is doing great.

My little family has grown by one. We added a pet fish into our lives and his name is Orange. My monkey ( as I decided will be my eldest official name for the post) decided to name him that and that is fine. I did learn one thing with this pet and that is do your research. I know to do research when I choose to get a cat or a dog or other pets but I didn't think about researching about a fish and I should have. I have now found out a lot about how to take care of a fish and hopefully he will live a long and happy life.

There has been a few changes with the boys as well. Monkey is continuing to have tantrums that we are dealing with every night when we try to put him to sleep. We have tried watching a bit of tv  (I know bright lights and all) that works sometimes, if that doesn't work we move on to books, and the lastly we have the we will put you in bed and lay with him and sing ( that's the one that usually works). As for my other little monkey he is starting to stand up for several seconds if not minutes on his own, I am trying to encourage him to walk but he isn't quiet ready to do it yet and that is fine. I know he will walk on his own time.

I've also kept exercising although this week I did miss a few days, between work and my mother-in-law visiting I fell off the wagon for the week ( insert sad face). I did totally pig out this week-end and the last few days. I have been craving lots of unhealthy foods and I have given in to the cravings. I do have to get back on track with my eating habits.  I still try to do yoga everyday ( if I can't every second day) I find more then 2 days without yoga I start feeling achy and sore all over.  I also try to jog three days a week and if I don't jog on a planned day  I try to add some kind of cardiovascular exercise that day.

I am great on the exercise plan not so great on the food plan but that is ok. I am still learning what to eat and what not eat, what keeps me full and what doesn't I am planning on keeping a diary of what I eat and keep notes so I know how I feel that day. I am hoping that it will help me figure out what to stick with and what will sustain my energy for the day without binging on bad foods. This hasn't been an easy journey and it won't be for a long time but I truly believe that my determination will get me through this and on to a healthy a life.

Any ways it is late my friends and I must go work out before it's time for me to sleep.

Another week gone.

Hello muffins,

I hope that your week has been a good one. My week went pretty good. I worked a lot which is a good thing since I have to pay bills and all ( at the moment we are tightening the belt a little).  I am still looking for another part-time work ( or full-time) which for once in my life seems practically impossible to do. I enjoy were I work and the increase in hours is really good. One of the girls at work left her full-time and another is going back to school come September which will also help in increasing the hours. I don't know how long this will last since they will have to hire another person eventually to cover some of the shifts.

Exercise wise I haven't done any jogging this week. It's been constantly raining the only day it didn't rain was my rest day which we all know is crucial to improving our fitness level. I've been a bit more tired then usual but that is probably due to the fact that I am getting into a routine of going to bed a bit earlier ( more like falling asleep with my 3 old)  and getting up at 6 to do some yoga. I find that this has helped me stay in a good mood, my chronic pain makes me a bit ( or a lot) cranky sometimes and I find yoga has helped me with this. I am also thinking of starting to do some exercising in the house ( workout videos) when I cannot go outside jogging because of the weather to keep myself active. I find that being house bound ( besides work) makes me lazy and takes out all the motivation out of me to get into shape.

In other news ( insert smiley face). I got to enjoy a date night with my hubby ( more like a belated birthday present but still some kind of adult time without the kids was good). He took me out to The dish which is a small restaurant. Their menus change from day to day so you never know what is going to be on the menu. For appetizers we both had compressed sushi, this was a fun experience as we tried ( and succeeded) to eat with chopsticks. For the entrĂ©es he had a 6 oz steak on a bed of blue and Asiago cheese ( I think it was Asiago) rissotto and I tried ( for the first time) duck as I ordered the duck leg on a bed of bean and  rice ( made me think of burrito fillings) . Dessert was amazing ( really sweet) I had three ( just a bit bigger then bite sized) pieces of flour-less chocolate cake with caramel sauce underneath and some sort of caramel icing on top. My hubby had toffee pudding cake ( the cake was really gingery which cut the sweetness down a bit ). As for the boys they are growing and pushing all the boundaries. My oldest is whiny and had quiet the temper ( so does my youngest) so trying to stay cool and collected is hard at times but I am doing we are doing our best. Also my youngest is starting to stand without holding on to anything so we all know what comes next walking.

I am hoping that this week goes on to be a good week not only for me but for all of you's

Whimsey box July 2014

 What is Whimsey Box?
Whimsey is the destination for D.I.Yers and crafters. For 15$ a monthly subscription that brings a fresh new project to your door every month.

Ships to US and Canada ( 5$ S&H)

Referal Program:  Earn a free box every time someone signs up using your link (this is mine) and they will receive 5$ off of their first box.

This month we are learning polymer clay
As usual I love the packaging and I use almost everything except the box I may ask my sister if she can use them to put her small quilting projects in them. I keep the ribbon and the paper for myself and give the cardboard bits to my mom who wants to use them in a painting project someday.
This month artist was Mallory Kozlowski the name of the picture is "Pink Flamingo Love"
You can find her art on her Etsy site.
I really like this aspect of whimsey. I think it is great the they show off other peoples art work, I know that ipsy ( although I no longer subscribe to it) had started something similar with their bags.

This is the badge this month we receive one for every project sort of like being part of the girl guides or scouts.
I also like the product card. I like that they include a picture of all the materials you should have in the box and behind it the names of the items ( I do wish that they would write the suppliers of the products I know you can buy kits and supplies from whimsey but I would also like to buy directly from the suppliers sometimes).

All items in the box ( except the badge)

Another thing that I like about Whimsey is that they allow you to choose the colour schemes on your projects. I picked the purple and white colour scheme I hope that they continue to give their customers a choice in their crafts.
Each of these are 20oz Sculpey Polymer Clay ( Purple and White)
4" Razor blade. I think it's nice that beside the description they let you know it is sharp as well at the paper it is packaged in.
2mm 24" Silver Snake Chain Necklace, Silver Platted Surgical Steel Earring post and back ( I like that it is surgical steel so more people can wear them without problems.German Glass Glitter ( they also had a warning on this on that they can be sharp)

1Tube of ProBond Advance Glue c/oo Elmer's Glue

Thoughts
I've always loved Whimsey box and the fact that they introduce you to new crafts. I definitely recommend this box if you a crafty person that likes to learn new skills. I don't have anything bad to say about this box except that I wish they would change the quote on the box every now and then to make it a little more original. Besides that I love this box.

A week of news

Hello loves,

I used to hate watching the new. My Husband is a radio newscaster and eats, breathe and lives news. I remember when I first moved in with him we watched the news morning, noon and night. I am now starting to enjoy watching the news. I like knowing what is going on around the world  ( although I would really like there to be more happy news) and also I like being able to have adult conversation about the world around me. I don't if it's just because I am getting older or what but I really am starting to enjoy watching the news even if it's just for 15 minutes a day I started watching one news story a day.

Some of the news stories this week are the following.

There are two wars going on which are claiming thousands of lives.
One of them is in Iraq and the US is helping providing assistance in the war again to help prevent the Islamic state militants to gain more ground ( which has been happening).

The second war is in Gaza between the Israel and Hamas have agreed to a 3 day cease fire.

Robin William died today at age 63 after fighting a long battle with drug and alcohol abuse as well as depression. The are claiming that it is an apparent suicide.

The Ebola outbreak is still in full affect but Spain is about to try a treatment on the priest that contracted Ebola while in Africa.

Justice Bourque the man that shoot and injured 2 RCMP officers and killed 3 plead guilty.

There were many more stories but these are the ones that are covered by the news channels on an almost daily basis or is the main story of the news.

Mean while in my life...

It is my birthday today I didn't do much. I had to work which is fine because well birthdays aren't a big thing for me any more except for my children's birthday of course. My husband will be taking me to a restaurant called The dish where everything is handmade ( even the ketchup and the bread) and the food is delicious. All of the restaurants here are "Greasy spoons" or Fast food and it is nice to have one restaurant offer fancier food from locally grown ( or as close as it can get to home) foods.

I have been running 2-3 times a week. I haven't increased my distant in running but I have been able to run for longer periods of time at a slower pace ( most people could probably speed walk besides me but wte). I will be repeating the week 5 of the C25K program in the hopes that I will be able to speed up my pace a bit and then move on to week 6.  I have also been doing yoga ( using my 6 week free trial at myyogaworks.com that I received from bodymorphia). I really enjoy getting back into the swing of things I will just have to add some muscle work ( weight lifting) and keep working on my diet. I am going to try the tiny teatox samples I received from bodymorphia to see if I like the taste if so I will probably buy the 28day tea tox box. It is supposed to help you curb cravings and help with bloating among other things so if drinking tea a few times a day for a month can help me with my bad food cravings then why not.

I've also finished knitting the directional scarf ( pattern from lion brand made with amazing yarn colourway Olympia). I am about to start an Oscar the grouch balaclava for JM my son for Halloween, this will probably take me forever to do since I am slow knitter :)

I will also be reviewing the Whimsey box for August 2014 as it just arrived today.

Addition to the blog next week I am going to be posting a few pictures of the things that made me happy. This will allow you guys to learn a bit more about me ( not that I am that important but you know)

That's all for today folks,go on, eat and be merry.

Bodymorphia August 2014 Review

 What is Bodymorphia?
This monthly subscription is the gift that keeps on giving because it keeps hooking you up with awesome health and fitness products!
Every month, a top-notch subscription containing 5 to 6 full-sizes and deluxe samples will show up in your mailbox bursting with nutritional supplements, vitamins and health solutions from the brands you love, the ones you’d love to try and the stuff you didn’t even know you wanted yet! ( Taken from site)
How much does it cost?
20.00$ a month ( which includes shipping) only ships to Canadians at the moment.
Referrals and/or points?

They have added a referral system. You get your own link and when you get so many points you e-mail them and then they will then you a free bag.
This month box was pretty good the total value was 50$. This bag although I don't what company made it was probably around 2$. I am happy that I got this bag I am planning on buying another yoga mat and don't want to spend the money on buying another bag for the mat. I also think that it is great for people thinking of buying a starter yoga mat ( usually cost about 20$ at walmart) they don't normally come with a bag. I also like that they package things in a bag to keep everything together and it is functional.

This is the full content of my bag although it doesn't seem like much I am happy with this bag and I will be purchasing something from this bag which I think it is great this is the second bag I have received and it the second time that I will be buying a product discovered through this bag.

2 Day trial of  Your Tea Tiny Tea box ( Retail: 5 $ for 6 bags)
My intricately balanced herbal blend will nourish and cleanse your digestive system, providing it the support it needs to replenish and restore back to its natural state. This cleanse will assist with reducing weight, easing bloating, increasing digestion functionality, improving skin clarity, increasing energy levels and alleviate issues associated with food intolerances. Formulated with Chinese medicine herbs and based upon Chinese medicinal principles, TinyTea is the only herbal cleanse on the market that does not produce a laxative effect. TinyTea has been created by qualified Chinese Medicine practitioners with considerable years of experience. I contain 84 teabags per box. Each teabag weighs 2.5g. ( Taken from youtea.com they are the seller of tiny teatox)

This is a product that I am looking forward on buying. Not necessarily  the teatox ( although I will be buying it in hopes that it will help with my sugar cravings and bloating) I am planning on buying the other kinds that they have. They are a bit more expensive then teas you can find at your local grocery stores but if I really enjoy these teas I don't mind paying more especially since this company gives part of the funds from the teas to charities around the world.
 Clip -and-Run MP3 Player ( Retail 9.99$)
Pop in your favorite memory card of up to 8GB of tunes, clip it on & get moving with your compact, fit-friendly media player.
I can't wait till I am able to run a full 5km. Right now I am using my phone to keep track of my km's but I am looking forward to just be able to clip this little thing on and go. I also think it is great if I am travelling with people and I don't like the music they are playing I can just keep this on me and listen to it.

Full sized Carabiner of Liquid Grip ( retail: 8.99$)
Say hello to improved grip in weight room. on the yoga mat or out on the field and goodbye to powders, chalk & slippage.

I don't use grip but I might try this on while I am doing yoga to see if it may help. I am a bit on edge about this as it is a new product and I don't know exactly what is in this product ( I will have to do more research)  as this is a new product on the market ( Patent Pending)

Gaspari BCCA Sample ( Retail: 1.50)
Recovery & endurance BCAA superfuel, rids muscle of of fatigue with Leucine-enriched amino acids & anti-cramping electrolytes.

I have never even heard of this product but that is what I love about this bag it brings me new products to try to keep me on track with my goals of physical activity.

6 Weeks of my yoga works ( 22.50$)

Stream 6 weeks of yoga classes anywhere, any time, with hundreds of classes available at every skill level, for every fitness goal.

This is my favourite thing in this box. I love yoga and I think every single person in the world should do yoga. It not only helps with flexibility but strength and stamina as well. I believe that everyone should have yoga in there exercise routine. Yoga is for everyone no matter what your fitness level is. I am really happy that this was part of the package.

Thoughts

I have really been enjoying the Bodymorphia bag. I like that it has a variety of products from samples, to full sized products and free trials. I know that free trials aren't for everyone but I enjoy them because it introduces me to things that I didn't know about. I am looking forward to receive another bag from them.

I do wish they would have a multiple month subscription box, I also wish that they would state the retail value of the products on the description card.

I really enjoy that they have added a loyalty/points system this is something I hope they continue to have.

If you would like to get a bag sign up using this link.

Note: All description on this blog in italic are from the description card provided unless stated other wise. I received this bag complimentary for my honest opinion.

Referral program: Yes for every referral you receive 250 points.Once you have enough points you can get an extra item in your bag of your choice. Here is my link.

This month theme was Fresh Picks

I really liked the print and colours this month it fits the theme and the season. I also really like that this was a fabric material. I do hope that they continue to make the bags fabric.

Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo ( Moonbeam and unicorn colours)
The Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo are coconut infused mineral eye shadows that are a perfect addition to any makeup collection. Packaged in a beautiful travel ready recyclable container, these exclusive duos are customized just for ipsy! These shades can be found in the Pacifica Mystical and Charmed Palette. Smooth application with gorgeous color pay-off.

I like products like these something easy to pack in a bag. You can also make a simple and complete eye look with this product.  (  I tend to use more but some days I like to keep it simple and fresh)

The colours I received were from Pacifica Mystical Palette shadow palette ( 14$ for 4 colours)  I really like the full palette they are all out at the moment though :(
The colours are quiet pigmented and easy to blend.

This sample is 14$. It has the same weight as a full sized palette.

Avene Thermal Spring Water
Known for its long history in treating atopic dermatitis, the Avène Thermal Spring Water is the only thermal spring water bottled directly from the sourcedand packaged in a sterile environment to guarantee purity and maximum skin benefits. Its unique composition is proven to soothe inflammation, itching, redness, general sensitivity and post-medical and aesthetic procedure irritation as it softens, protects and purifies the skin. Avène Thermal Spring Water is recommended by dermatologists worldwide.

Spray onto the skin in a fine mist. May leave on for 2 to 3 minutes, and then gently pat dry. Ideal for use after cleansing, shaving, exercise, sun, to soothe diaper rash and set make-up to help keep it fresher looking longer.

I will be trying this product but I am not impressed with this. To me it is just water in a can.  I definitely could of used another product instead of this one.  I will use this in the summer when it too hot as a spritzer to see if it helps keep my make-up looking fresher longer. I have noticed a lot of good reviews on this product so who know I might be pleasantly surprised.

Retail for this is approximately  3$ ( 18$ for 10.5 oz can)

Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF50 Sunscreen
Protect and nourish your skin with our clear, lightweight, naturally scented sunscreen. Provides maximum water resistance and full body coverage against harmful UVA/UVB rays.

I really like that this sunscreen is free of many chemicals. I also like the size of this bottle it will be perfect to bring at the splash park this year instead of carrying large bottles.

This bottle would retail at about 2.15$  ( a full sized bottle is 6 oz and cost 12.99$)

Boo-Boo Cover-Up: Medium Shade
ave a Boo-Boo? Skip the bandage and the shiny ointment. Look your best even while you heal with Boo-Boo Cover-Up for the body. Our innovative formula offers great coverage for skin imperfections while containing ingredients known in nature to promote healing. Contains aloe, chamomile, green tea, tea tree oil and vitamin E. Medium shade matches most skin tones.

I don't mind products like these as I am still discovering brands that I like when it comes to concealers and foundations. This shade matches my skin perfectly which is a plus. I am looking forward to try this product as well.  I also like that it is a Canadian product. My only issue is that this is an expensive product.

Product in ipsy is full sized and retails for 19.99$
No Frizz Organic Sesame and Lemongrass Balancing oil By Balanced Guru
Balance frizzy hair without the need to weigh it down with silicones. The Balanced Guru No Frizz Organic Sesame and Lemongrass Balancing Oil controls fly aways with a blend of Sesame, Grapeseed, Jojoba and Tamanu Oils. Show your hair who's boss even in humid and tropical weather. By the way, you will also get incredible shine and manageability.

I always like products like these I have curly hair that is prone to get frizzy especially in humid weather.
I am not really fond of the smell but it is something I can look past.  I am excited to try this product.

We got the travel sized which is half an oz retail is 13$ ( taken off of the site) Full oz is 25$. For the price it better work miracles and last long.

Thoughts
Although not all products made me happy the value of this bag is well worth the price. I won't always be happy with the products I receive but I like that I get to try products that I've never heard about..

Do you have Ipsy? What was in your bag?

May Whimsey box 2014

What is Whimsey Box?
Whimsey is the destination for D.I.Yers and crafters. For 15$ a monthly subscription that brings a fresh new project to your door every month.

Ships to US and Canada ( 5$ S&H)

Referal Program:  Earn a free box every time someone signs up using your link (this is mine) and they will receive 5$ off of their first box.

This month box we got to learn how to make paper flowers
The same famous quote on this box. I do wish they would change it from month to month though instead of keeping it the same.
I always love how well they package the box with love and care. I also love how colourful the wrapping inside the box it gets me all excited to do some craft. I started keeping the paper and ribbon inside the box to use for other craft projects.
This is the picture of the month it was made by Ashley Gardner  If you want to see more of this artist work visit her at her EtsyShop or her website.

I don't know why they picked this picture this month but I really like it in fact it makes me think of flower petals and crepe paper. Which are this months crafts projects and materials.
A detailed view of the instructions they provide. They also have videos for each projects to give you a little extra help to finish the project if you need it.
This card is extremely detailed and I find that great.

A new thing they introduced this year is a list and a picture to show all products that should be in your box. I like this ideal I find that is helps me locate and see what the items are supposed to look like.

Another thing I really like about this box is that they supply all materials. In the last few boxes I've received ink and pen ( caligraphy), needle and round nosed pliers ( beaded necklace) and in this box I got scissors. I also got all the other materials that I needed. I like this because some boxes that I've  looked at for adults and kids craft only come with some material but you must purchase the rest and I don't have to do this with this subscription.

This months box came in with paper templates to make the petals.

The fun extra pin that they have in all the boxes to keep track of what skills you have learned.

Thoughts
I really enjoy this box and I think for the price that it is great and it helps keep my creative juices flow. I haven't had the time yet to complete or even start the last two projects yet as my weekly routine has been a little chaotic lately and finding time to sit and craft has been hard and the last two project seem like they will take a while. I am hoping to tackle the craft this month now that things are slowing down and that I am getting used to a daily routine.  I will post pictures of the completed craft on the blog and on my FB page.

There is no Review for June's Whimsey box because the products in it stunk so bad it made my whole apartment smell :(

April Whimsey Box review 2014

What is Whimsey Box?
Whimsey is the destination for D.I.Yers and crafters. For 15$ a monthly subscription that brings a fresh new project to your door every month.

Ships to US and Canada ( 5$ S&H)

This month box we got to learn Caligraphy
I like the boxes from Whimsey they are nice and simple. The best thing about them is the little quotes on the inside when you lift the flap. I find these nice and inspiring and add a personal touch to the box.

As per usual the box is well wrapped and every item has it's place. That is another great aspect of this box they take the time to pack it.

Another great aspect of the box. You get two pieces of paper. One that is the products that are supposed to be in the box ( all my products where in) this piece of paper also has picture of the items. The second piece of paper ( thick paper, thinner then cardboard though) has a lovely picture from an artist every month ( seen below) and inside it explains how to do the craft in details. You can get more details on how to make the craft as well on their link.

This month artist is  Morgan Day Cecil and the art work is called Do Brave Things. I like this month art. I really enjoy how colourful it it. We are just starting to see buds on the trees here as we just lost the last of our snow that was around and the colours just make me think Yes, Spring is here. I am not super fond of the saying on it but I still like it. You can find this artist on these links below:
Twitter
Facebook
Etsy
Blog
Part of the supplies were several papers to practice and learn how to do Caligraphy

Last bit of supplies that was in the box were two nibs ( pen bits), the base to attach the nibs to and a container of ink. The box this month seemed a bit empty but it wasn't it was just the materials that were smaller.
Another fun thing that they add to the boxes are these little badges to help you keep track of the new skills you've learned.

Thoughts
I will continue to say that I love this box. I haven't made this craft yet though because I have two kiddos and with my schedule this week I have been to tired to even attempt to do this art form. I will however add the pictures of the project once it is done on my facebook and twitter feed for you all to see once I have it done

Herbal Essences Bare Volumizing Shampoo, Conditioner and Mousse Review

As many of you know I am part of a community called Bzzagent. It is a community that gets to try products and then we must review them and give our honest opinions. This month I got to try out Herbal essences Bare line.  I received 1 full-sized Shampoo and Conditioner ( as well as 3 travel sizes) and I also got a full-sized mousse can.

The description of the Campaign
There’s a certain freedom that comes with being naked and now you can get away with that feeling all day. NEW Herbal Essences Naked invigorates your hair and restores 100% of your hair’s natural body without the use of heavy residues, parabens, & dyes.

  • Herbal Essences Naked Volume Shampoo: my formula is free of silicones, parabens and dyes, but doesn’t withhold the revitalizing aromas of grapefruit and mossa mint oil.

  • Herbal Essences Naked Volume Conditioner: bare your softest hair in sky-high style. My formula, free of parabens and dyes, delivers incredible softness while reviving each strand with the aroma of grapefruit and mossa mint oil.

The scent
All I have to say is OMG! I love the smell of these products and to be honest I really didn't think I would. I thought that grapefruit and mint would not go together but it turns out it's a lie it smells delish.
I like this smell it is relaxing enough that I can take my showers at night but also rejuvenating for when I want to shower in the smell and that is important for me.  I like to be able to enjoy the smell of my hair products .

The Bottles
Another great aspect of these products are the bottles. Mainly the shampoo and conditioner bottles. The top and bottom of these bottles are made to stand up no matter what side you decide to put them which I really like. I like this because when I am near the end of the bottles I can flip them upside down and the bottle will remain standing and \I can get the all the product out without frustration.

The mousse
I like the mousse I did have a bit of issues with the can at first. I found that pushing the foam out was a bit hard but once I figured how long I had to shake the can and exactly where to push the button I had no more issues. The mousse also has the same great smell. I also like that this mousse doesn't do the following to my hair : it doesn't make my hair heavy, greasy, look wet or become hair. In fact it leaves my hair soft, light and shiny.

The product ( how it works)
I am not sure to be honest how just one of these products work individually but all together I have noticed several difference in my hair. My hair looks and feels fuller. I have my hair up in ponytails often and when I let it down my hair is straighter ( I have curly hair) and flat but since using these products when I put my hair down  it is still pretty curly. I also have to twist my hair elastics less often so I am saying that yes I think that all products used together word.

Overall

I give this product an A+ these products used together work wonders and I have nothing bad to say about any of them. The fact that they have no dyes and that they are Paraben Free ( Preserving agents) makes me feel even better to be using them. I did have a bit of trouble with the mousse can but besides that everything is great about these products.

Would you use Herbal Essences Bare?

Broadway ImPress Press-on manicure Review

Influenster is a community of trendsetters, social media masterminds, and educated consumers who live to give opinions of products and experiences.

Influensters meet here to learn about new products from our favorite brands as well as review the products they already use in their day-to-day lives. (taken from site)

I got imPress press-on nails by Byway complimentary for review purposes. This is what was in my box. Two sets of nails in the colour Joyride ( magenta) and Shout ( Patterned)

Instruction on how-to put them on.
Remove all nail polish, wash hands with soap and water and dry.
Use Prep pad on your nails to remove any residue and excess oils.
Find press-on nails that fit your nail ( tab down to the cuticle).
Remove plastic from behind nails, place on your nails and press-on y starting from the middle and then do the sides.

Avoid water for the next 30 minutes ( on your hands of course)
I also file down the ends of my nails because they have a little lip on it where they were separated from the plastic when they were made.

Removal is just as easy as putting them on. Put a bit of nail polish remover on the edges and they come off easily.

Thoughts
I love these nails and here is why:

No glue or stickers to have to put on your nails. It really is just peel and stick.
They don't hurt like other nails do ( including gel nails).
They don't damage the nails upon removal.
Easy application and removal.
Convenient when you are a mom, busy person or just don't want to pay ridiculous prices on fake nails or paint them.
The look nice
The kits come with everything you need.
They fit large and small fingers  ( I have fat fingers)

These nails are supposed to last up to  one week but my first pair Joyride fell off within 3 days. I do have to say though that I waitress therefore my hands are often used and washed. The nails went thought rough conditions. I am now wearing the Shout ones today we will see how long these last.

I also don't like how they are all different heights once they are applied but I am assuming it is because of the width of the nail. The bigger the width the longer the nail. I doesn't matter when I used the solid colour but when using the patterned one I don't like that if I want to put them on I have to file them which then removes that pattern
