Adult Review- Cumfy hogtie

Price- Ranges from 40$ to 76$ I'm sure you might find it for cheaper or higher prices if you look harder but this is an ideal of the prices that I've found. We bought ours at between us lovers boutique in Sudbury.

I was really debating about posting a review about sexual items on my blog but I told myself why not. I've done the review on Bj blast so I figured why not keep doing it on a few other items that I've tried out with my partner.

Today I'm going to talk about the Cumfy hogtie restraint. When my partner and I saw this product in the store we just looked at each other and smiled like two school kids that just scored candy. We've done the ropes and the fancy knots but sometimes having something simpler to do the restraining is more convenient at times.

What I like about this product.

The cuffs have a nice padding in the inside almost like fleece. I like that because your wrist can be somewhat moveable in them and they don't cut or hurt with a bit of struggling. It is also adjustable with a few wholes to adjust the sizes. I liked that there was the four ring center which allowed a good way of attaching and positioning your partner in different positions. I also like the ease it takes to set up.

What I didn't like.

If you look closely on the picture just below the paragraph you will see the center piece where your cuffs attach. On the center piece there is clips that you well clip onto the cuffs. These broke extremely easily. They either bent or broke right off which will made this purchase a downer. Other reviews online have also stated having the same problems as we have so it's not just me.

Two different sized cuffs one for the wrist one for ankles.

I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. My partner and I still use the cuffs as it's sometimes still easier and comfier then rope directly on the skin. The only reason why I'm but recommending this product is because of the links that broke. If they can solve that issue then this product would be great for both beginners and experienced people.

COVERGIRL Supersizer Mascara review

COVERGIRL SUPERSIZER Mascara Review

This is the Cover girl super sizer.
I got to try this product through bzzagent and like most products I've tried I really enjoyed it.

Packaging 1/1 stars

Now, I realize that for some of you the exterior looks might not be important but it is for me. I love the color of the tube and how bright it is. It makes it easier to find in my makeup bag and the colour just makes happy.

Brush handling 1/1 stars

I like the brush and I find it works well. When you receive products from bzzagent they often come with little video's on how to use them. So I watched this one. It might sound funny to some of you but that little twirl up thing she does in this video I had trouble doing, but I got with practice.

Staying power 1/1

This product is great. It stays on all day. Even through heat and sweat but it is easily removed. I don't think it would stand if you are in an area where there is a lot of water such as crying or in the rain though, because it comes off easily without soap.

Does it work? 2/2

What I like about this mascara is the you can make your lashes long and looking natural like in the video or have a bolder effect like the picture below that I took. I found that it wasn't clumpy at all and I don't have to go over it a bunch of times to get the look I want.

Madame LadyBug Period Box ( February box)

What is Madame Ladybug?
Madame Ladybug was created by women for women. It is a monthly box that will help you get through your tough and sometimes painful time of the month. There are several box options to cater your needs and budget.

This box cost 33$ plus shipping and taxes is 14$.  Total of this box was 47$ in total ( I did get a 20% off code from the 47$)
This box was neatly package which as always is a plus. I also like that there is a category for items in this box and each items were put in a bag based on the category they fit in.

This paper has all the prices of the items that are in the box and what category they fit in. There is also a little note to the subscribers about the box.
Each bag has items in them. I like that they are separated. I found that it helped me find all the items that are on the list a lot easier. I also find that it made the box look a lot neater in the packaging since the items weren't all over the place.
In this picture there is the extra pads and panty liners ( I didn't take pictures of the bundle of pads, they are however in the top picture) ( 8.20$), Scensibles Disposable Bags ( .45 cents), feminine wipes ( 1$), Advil Packets (2$).

The picture shows everything that is in the Necessities For this Month list. I like that I not only have the regular pads that I need plus some extra pads and panty liners for when my flow slows down. I also like that there is wipes that I can bring to work and little disposable bags that are scented. Pads and tampons can smell so I think it is great that I have lightly smelling bags to keep some of the odour away.  I also like that there are a few Advil packets to help with some of the discomfort I get while on my Period.

The Pictures below are from the Guilty pleasures this month ( you can actually get a box with just the snacks from madame ladybug that will help you with your cravings)
O Organic  Dried Cranberries (5.99$)
Along with the unhealthy snacks I am glad that they included some healthier options too. My hubby was actually glad to see these as we often add cranberries to our salads and cereals and this is just perfect to have.

5 Tea Bags ( 1.45)
I love tea and I am glad that this box contains a few and that they are of a variety from different companies. I will be enjoying these though out the week.
Valentine's Fruit Snacks ( .50$) and Mrs. Fields (.85)
Some jujubes which take me back to my childhood ( I don't buy these myself but it was nice to see them), Mrs Fields cookie ( well you can never go wrong with a cookie, it was delicious).

Milano Dark Chocolate Cookie (.90$) and Jojo Chocolate Crunch (.99$)
These two snacks were also delicious and hit the spot when it came to my chocolate cravings. I like the variety that this box had in snacks from sweet to salty.
A variety of Chocolate bars and Candies (  1.64$, some of these candies are part of the Bonuses List but I just put them all together)
Again I love the variety of treats I am glad that this came in with the box  and they are mostly all Valentine related which is great since it was the moth of February.

I also received a bag of Veggie Chips that wasn't in the pictures ( My camera decided that the picture would be broken after I ate the bag but before I realized the picture wasn't opening) The price for that was 1.25$ ( they aren't bad but I wasn't fond of them, I am glad that I did get to try them however as I have been wanting to try some for a while).

The next pictures are of the Gifts & Bonuses This month
In the picture there is.
Red Velvet Lip Balm Etsy SkysTheLimitLipBalm ( 1.50$), Body Heat Heating Pad ( 1.50$), Rose soak Bath Etsy Daily Bather (1.25$) , Coffee Mud mask Etsy Daily Bather (1,75$), Sugar Scrub Etsy KatnipArt, Vintage Bohemian Solitaire Ring ( 14.95$),  Sterling Silver 3 hearts Zircon Necklace ( 10.99$), Madame LadyBug Bag Hanger (18.99$), Cutie Ribon Credit Card Wallet ( 6$).

All right let's tackle the list.

I love how the bath and beauty products are from Etsy vendors. This shows me that this box supports small home business owners and I love that. I like trying new products that are hand made. I will be trying all of the products and possibly buying some if they suit me.

The Jewellery I am still undecided about. I don't know if I am going to wear it or not but if I don't I know I can always give it away as a gift.

I like the Credit Card wallet. I only have a big wallet and often times I just put my cards in a bag. The wallet will allow me to keep my cards organized.

The bang hanger will come in handy but I would of like to see a little design on it to go along with the Madame ladybug logo.

The heating pad. I have never tried one but I will try this one. I get a few aches and pain through out the month so it should be interesting,

Total value of the box is 84$

Thoughts

I liked this box but I wasn't completely in love with it. I like the huge variety that comes with the box. I like that there is many treats and goodies as well as extra pads and liners. I think that I am not completely in love with the box more because of some of the aesthetics of the following: The website does need some work. I hope that as this company grows that the website will become more professional looking. I also found that the pamphlet with all the prices are bit unprofessional too. It is a little bit too handmade to my liking. I would prefer to see a pamphlet that is a bit more solid and doesn't fold and crumple as easily and that the mistakes on it were lessened.  I do however that the box is broken down into sections in the box and on the pamphlet. I also like that the total retail value of the box is over what I paid for the box. I do hope that this company continues to grow and improve as they go as well as continuing to support smaller business in the hand-made world.

Avalai Period box

What is Avalai?
Avalai is box made for women's time of the month. Each box contains ( pads, tampons or both) as well as a few more items to pamper and help you get through your period.

The subscription process is fairly easy. Once you hit subscribed they ask you you three question: The duration of your period, the heaviness of your flow and what products you prefer to use. You then enter your payment information and shipping address and voilà you are now an Avalai member.

The box that I had would of cost me 15 plus shipping and handling ( 10.80). The total of this box is 25.80$ for Canadians.

When this box arrived I was already excited a smell of blueberry was coming from the box and the address was hand written instead of printed I love that. It makes me feel like this package was well made just for me and that no one else would get a box like it. I also like that everything in the box was nicely packaged.

All the contents in the box. I do wish they had a product card letting you know what is in the box and the value. I always like to know the exact value of a box that I am paying for.

I also liked the little bag of candies. Again on the bag everything was hand written on it. It took me back to when I was in school and got little gifts, candies and cards on my desk. I'll put the value of the candy bag at 4$ because I know the Russell Stover chocolate is about .90 cents a piece alone.

Every first order comes with this nifty little bag. When you open it there is a pouch for a few pads and three little slots to fit tampons. This is great for girls on the go that need to bring a few hygiene products with them and not have them lost in the bottom of their hand bag or bulging in their pant pocket.  The retail value is  8$ (the company has told me this)

A few teas that I will put the cost at 1.25$. I love tea and I like how this box contains some. It is always nice to have some relaxation time with tea and a good book when you are in a PMS mood.

Cottonelle flushable wipes. I actually have flushable wipes in my bathroom for when I am on my period. The fact that I now have a baggy of them is great I can now pack these in my bag and be able to freshen myself up when I am at work.
I value these around 2$ too.
Lavender bath tea bags. I never tried these before, I do like to take baths especially with two little ones running around. I can't wait to soak with these in my tub.
I'll value these at 1$
19 pads ( by U-kotex) This is the brand I normally use so I am happy that this is the brand that this company uses.  I was able to find this exact amount for as low as 5.49$. I do like that there is overnight  and day pads in here but I would of also liked to see a few panty liners for the end of my period when full pads are no longer needed.
I'll retail this neat sponge at 5$ ( the sponge cuts are about 49 cents just by themselves)
I thought this was a neat product that is also new to me. I tried it this morning in the shower and it was neat. I would probable only use it a few times a week just to get rid of the dead skin off of me.

The total value of this box is approximately 26.75$ ( all prices were estimated based on prices I found on-line)

Thoughts

I really enjoyed this box and the array of products inside. I do wish as stated above that they had a few panty liners for the end of the week when full pads aren't needed any more. I  would also like to see a product card with the box that states the price of the items. The value of this box for Canadians might not be quiet worth it since you are paying more for the box then the value inside but if you don't mind that I  would recommend this box. I do whoever recommend this box for the US readers. This is a neat little box that will take the worry out of your "time of the month".

I received a code to review this box for free I did have to pay shipping and handling.

Bean Box Review

Bean box

What is bean box?

Bean Box is a monthly subscription box for coffee beans. There is an option for two boxes both valued at 20$. In one you will receive 4x 1.8oz bags of beans ( gives about 16 cups of coffee depending on strength preference) and the other is one 12 oz bag of coffee ( this one also has the option to ship twice a month for 34$). There is also a decaf option.

You can also purchase a bag of coffee beans in the store if you particularly liked one of the samples.

I love how there is a note with my name in this box, It gives the box a personal touch. I also like that the box is only big enough for the coffee, That makes it less wasteful ( I keep my boxes to re-use when I need to ship things out that are too big to fit in envelopes).
All the bags are puffed up when you receive them. Beans create CO2 after they are roasted this is perfectly normal. The carbon dioxide is what keeps the moisture and oxygen out which keeps the coffee fresh. (plus opening them is so fun the smells that come out the bag just entices you to hurry up and drink it already)
This is the entire content of the box except for the little note.
There is a paper with a discount code on it. This one is NEWYEAR2015 and it is good until the end of February 2015 you can get 15% off on full bags of coffee, gift orders and subscriptions.

The box also comes with a chocolate ( I won't lie I wish there was more then one)

The other paper tells you how to "Brew like you mean it". I really liked that since well I don't normally have beans. I have a keurig and I just buy the little cups and that's it.
On the other side of the paper there is a description of the coffee company and about the coffee you are going to try.

I like that each bag is dates as to when the beans were toasted which let's me know that they are fresh. In the front of the coffee bag there is a description of the coffee. The description is the opinion of the company that produced the coffee and from the taster's of Bean Box.

Longshoreman's Daughter Coffee Roaster (Flavor Ethiopian Yirgacheffe)
Description from the bag and card:
Hint's of orange, ginger, berry, and mild chocolate.

Very sweet, lively taste with hints or orange,  ginger, berry and mild chocolate. Round acidity, syrupy body. Sourced from Dam Co-op in Ethiopia. ( Longhsoreman's Daughter)

Straight from the birthplace of coffee. We never imaniged great coffee could taste like tea.  ( Bean Box)

I loved this coffee. It was my favourite one of them. I loved the flavouring of the fruits in this. It truly does taste like tea. This is one that I would definitely buy.

Herkimer Coffee ( Flavour Drip blend)
Description from card and bag:

Hints of cherry, caramelized sugar and chocolate.

Soft, refreshing light acidity with a clean finish. Hint of cherry with deeply caramelized sugar and chocolate. Velvet mouth feel and weight. Directly sourced from El Cedral and El Cieleto  in  Honduras.  ( Herkimer Coffee)

Chocolate, chocolate, cherry. Try this roast without milk or sugar. It brings its own. ( bean Box)

I didn't mind this coffee. It was a bit more on the stronger side but with a bit of milk and sugar it was fine. I think that my hubby would of like this one if he tried it.

Light House Roaster's ( Roaster's Choice is the flavour)
Description on the bag and card;
Dark, Bold taste that engages the palate.

A full-bodied blend of Ethiopian, Sumatran and Latin high-grown Arabicas. Rich and complex, Roaster's Choice touches the whole palate and stays clean. Our signature coffee. ( Light House Roaster's)

A bold roast with a real kick, but polished and refined like a gentleman. ( Bean Box)

I personally didn't like this coffee but my hubby did. This coffee was a bit too strong for me. I won't deny it I prefer the sweeter and lighter coffee's.

Kuma Coffee ( Flavour Nilson Lopez Colombia)
Description from card and bag:
Features drinking chocolate, marzipan, toffee, fig and pomegranate.

With taste notes of drinking chocolate, marzipan, toffee, fig and pomegranate, we think of the Nilson Lopez microlot like a beautiful piece of layered cake. Everyone wants their dessert.  ( Kuma)

With flavours as decadent and varied as a box of chocolates, this sweet cup is the total package. Go ahead, introduce it to your mother.

This one was another of my favourite coffee. It is good on its own or with milk and sugar. I actually drank this one after supper as a dessert. Delicious, this is one that I would also buy.

Brew card

Final thoughts

I loved this box. I am not an "experienced" coffee drinker but I love the experience that this box has brought me.
I never thought of drinking coffee as an experience and this box brought just that for. The smell when you first open a bag of coffee beans that just brings you a hint of excitement of what you are going to try. The different smells that come with them, I never knew coffee was so diverse when it came to flavouring it with fruits ( I typically just drink hazelnut and vanilla). I also loved the process of grinding it, seeing it change into what will become a good cup of coffee.  I brewed mine in my Keurig and I loved it, I loved the whole experience of this box.
This is a box that I fully recommend buying. Whether you are an avid coffee drinker or not.

The customer service for this box was also exceptional. I e-mailed them because I didn't have my tracking number or my box. They replied promptly with my tracking information and also told me that for some reason my boxed got bounced around for some reason. They also told me that if I hadn't received my box that they would gladly send me another one.

This box will bring you excitement, fun and joy and a whole new way of looking at coffee.

Yours truly,

ME

Her Fitness Box ( HFB) Review 2014

After months of waiting my package finally arrived.

What is Her Fitness Box?

I paid 50$ for mine ( The price on the site is AU so I am giving the Canadian price that includes shipping) I did not have to pay anything for customs or taxes.

They promise, 1 designer collaborated product, 2-3  fitness items, 6-8 Deluxe Health and Lifestyle Products

The theme was Spring

This was what was in the bag. I wouldn't say that it was nicely package just sort of crammed in the bag. I do Understand that this product comes all the way from Australia so things could've of been moved around in the bag while shipping.

Smoothie Booster ( 30$ for a 30 day pack. I got one pack so Value of this is 1$)

These  Natural Vegan powders are designed to be added daily to your smoothies, can help lower your cholesterol, reduce fatigue and anxiety and increase brain function.

You were either going to receive the Health booster or the Energy Booster it is not stated on the package which one you get. I am assuming by reading the back of the package which explains each ingredient that I got the energy booster.

I would not call this a Deluxe Sample since I only got one  and this Item was on the Description card

BAre Blends- Native Whey Protein Isolate (39.99$, 500g. I received two packs of 30g approximative value 5$)

A perfect high-protein rejuvenating drink to consume after exercise! In Organic Vanilla Bean flavour, this is gluten free, non GMO and suitable for vegetarians.

I like that this product can be used by a wide variety of people ( vegetarian and non vegetarians alike). I also look forward to the flavour I love Vanilla so I am hoping that it will be good.

Again though not something that I would consider a deluxe sized sample considering the size of a regular pack)

Emma Organics- Hand and Nail revive ( 50ml 18.35$ I got 2x 5 g samples 2$ approximation)

An intensive nourishing cream with organic ingredients to improve the skin, cuticle and nails. It helps repair the daily wear and tear to deliver healthy, plump and glowing looking hands. Cruelty and palm oil free. Suitable for vegans.

Again another little sample marked on the description card. ( I would NOT call this deluxe)

This product isn't really for me although my hands get a beating very day that still look great. I probably will still use this because I do like and lotions. This also came with a pamphlet that talked about all their other products.

Jump Rope ( approximation price 5-10$)

This also wasn't on the card and the HFB site didn't have these in their store so I approximated the price. I like that I now have a skipping rope but I will have to wait till summer to use it.

Slim Secrets- Fit & Fab Protein Bar -28g ( 32.40 for a 12 pack, I got 1 retail approximation 3$)

In a tasty Creme Caramel flavour, this mini snack has 9.3 g of protein per serve, less the 1g of sugar, only 1 g of carbohydrates and is wheat free.

I wish I had at least two of these. These bar tasted great it was the first thing I used and the flavour was delicious. This also came with a pamphlet of all their other products.
Naturals Crunch! Natural Sweetener  ( 250g, 8.59$)

From the maker of Equal, these sugar-free crystals are 100% natural with 97% less calories than sugar. They're perfect for replacing sugar in all you daily sweetening needs.

I think this is a full sized sample in a small pack or it is a deluxe sample.

I am interested in trying this product especially since I am slowly trying to eliminate sugar out of my coffees and teas. This just might give me the bit of sweetness I need.

Fresh Feet- Probiotic Solutions- Foot odour eater ( 50ml 3$)

Keep your feet smelling fresh with this probiotic odour neutraliser created through a natural fermentation process.  It is chemical free, earth friendly and family and pet friendly.
I am assuming this is full-Sized

I am happy to have this product I work long days on my feet and sometimes they stink I can't wait to try this product out.
Shick - Hydro Silk razor ( Approximation Price 18$)

This uniquely designed razor goes beyond an incredibly close shave to actually care for your skin. With Water-Activated Moisturizing Serum and 5 Curve-Sensing blades with skin guards to help protect skin from irritation, the Hydro Silk razor leaves skin feeling silky smooth!  ( Taken from well.ca)

I am glad I got a razor this will probably be my travelling one. I used to buy disposables but I hate having to throw a razor out when it is still good. This way I have a razor that I can use when I am away and still finish using the blade when I get home.

This was not on the description card so I am happy to have this in my bag.

BX Earth- Bit Of A Soft Touch Body Wash ( 500ml, 7,99$)

Made with sweet smelling peach and Manuka Honey with soothing goat's milk and jojoba oil, this nourishing bodywash is full of botanical based ingredients, antioxidants, bioactive extracts and natural essential oils that benefit your body's well being. It is environmentally friendly and free of harsh detergents.

This is a full sample and I am happy with this. You can never have to mane body washes in my opinion especially those that sound delicious enough to eat.
\
HFB Exercise Ball ( 30$ Value )

Discover how you can Incorporate the exercise ball in your routine with our HFB Workout card.

There was a card in the box with three exercises ( only one was for the ball)

I did like that I received a ball even though I already own one. My oldest child likes to imitate the things I do so I might just give him my old one and use this one. Although 30$ for this maybe. I did find some for the same price and some cheaper and they all came with pumps. For that I'll be lenient on judging the price cost since I can find some that are more expensive that don't come with anything also.

All the pamphlets that were in the box.

HFB Description Card.

Thoughts
I am a bit torn with this box. It is spring in Australia and Winter here so there theme doesn't work with the season that I am in but that is fine, besides the skipping rope I can use everything in this box. Plus have a summery smelling body wash will keep my spirits up during the winter month.

I also wasn't happy that this box was supposed to come out in August. I messaged them in September they replied to me and then they also put out an official e-mail to everyone saying that the boxes will be shipped out in September due to them wanting to give us the best box. I was ok with that. My issue came when October came and went and I still had no box and they charged me for a second box. I Then messaged them the first week of November I asked them to refund my  money for the two box they charged me. They messaged me a week later letting me know that my box was shipped out and then they gave me my tracking number ( I would think they would send out tracking numbers when your box is shipped but apparently not) and they refunded me my second box. For this I am a bit bitter for the company. You do not delay shipping your box almost another 2 months without giving an explanation.

I was a bit disappointed with some of the samples as I do not consider them Deluxe. With that said I will use everything in the box which is a good thing and I am glad that I received full sized items too and a few surprises.

Overall I would recommend this box but only if you are willing to deal with the hassle of delayed boxes and them taking payments out before you even receive a box. I have not renewed my subscription to this box for that reason. When I subscribe to monthly boxes I want a hassle free box not one where I need to worry if I lost my money or not.

Did you ever order a HFB? What was your experience?
